Everything that is supernatural all mixed into one show, thus creating the name of the show, Supernatural. For those of you who haven’t seen the show let me give you a brief summary of what has happened so far….. Mary dies, Jess dies, John dies, Sam dies, Dean dies, Joe dies, Ellen dies, Castiel dies, Sam goes to hell, and Dean goes to purgatory. Of course the main characters Sam and Dean hunt some supernatural entities and save the world from the apocalypse. Now some people may say from this description it’s not their kind of show, well you’re missing out than my friend. Not only are the actor’s abilities incredible, but their commitment. Their commitment to the fans and what they're talking about. They're also aware and openly talk about the erotic fan-fiction that is highly popular among two of the characters. They also the bring their nicknames from the show to their real life.  

Now, not only the actors, but the writers take everything in account as well. The writers do check the fan blogs, and will add things to the show in a humorous way. Now would most TV shows include the erotic fan-fiction that fans talk about and present that on their show? No, but Supernatural did. No matter what's going on there's always humors details  and evidence that the writers know what the fans are interested in. So I guess it's not just the show itself that makes it so likable, it's everything that goes into it.
